We’re incredibly excited to announce we’ve been named a gold winner for “2015 Product Line of the Year” in the Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts. Our complete line of HDTV antennas received the honors.
Our product line includes the original Leaf antenna, the aesthetically pleasing Curve antenna, the outdoor Sky antenna for users in remote locations and the most recent addition designed for the urban cord-cutter, the Leaf Metro. All Mohu antennas deliver uncompressed HD signals that outperform subscription-based television quality.
With “cord-cutting” on the rise, more than one million Americans have dropped pay-TV service in 2015 alone and the cutting-edge technology of Mohu’s antennas has made the company a major contributor to this movement. As the leading supplier of over-the-air antennas for today’s cord-cutters, Mohu has saved consumers more than $300M by reducing or eliminating monthly cable and satellite bills and was named the preferred supplier for companies like Microsoft Xbox this year.
“We’re honored to receive recognition from this influential panel of journalists and analysts who cover and review new products like ours everyday,” said Mohu CEO, Mark Buff. “In just four years our antennas have helped consumers save millions of dollars in monthly bills and with more innovations to come, we will continue to be a cornerstone of the cord-cutting movement.”
Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2015 were determined based on scoring from an independent panel of 46 judges from highly recognized newspapers, business, consumer and technology publications, radio outlets, and analyst firms. The panel included contributors to Bloomberg BusinessWeek, ComputerWorld, Fast Company, Forbes and more.
The fifth annual program in North America boasted the highest number of submissions to date. More than 600 entries were received this year, from a wide array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries and geographic regions in the U.S. and Canada.
